The game needs youon the field.
Friday nights in Northwest Arkansas don't happen without officials. Get paid, stay close to the game you love, and join a crew that trains you from your very first whistle — no experience required.
Local officials, keeping the game honest.
The Northwest Arkansas Football Officials Association assigns and develops the officials who work 3/4A varsity, junior varsity, and junior high football across Northwest Arkansas.
We're a community of teachers, tradespeople, retirees, and former players who share one thing: a love of the game and a commitment to calling it fairly. We train every new official, support each other on and off the field, and make sure every Friday night has a crew ready to go.
The best seat in the house — and you get paid for it.
Officiating is one of the most rewarding ways to stay connected to football. Here's what you'll get when you join the crew.
Get paid every game
Officials are paid per contest. Varsity, JV, and junior high games add up fast across a full fall season.
Stay in the game
Can't play forever — but you can stand on the field every Friday night with the best view in the stadium.
Flexible commitment
Work the nights that fit your schedule. Tell us your availability and we build assignments around it.
A built-in crew
Join a tight group of officials who train, travel, and have each other's backs week after week.
Give back to the game
Without officials, there are no games. You keep high school football alive for the next generation.
No experience needed
Never officiated before? Perfect. We train you on rules and mechanics from your first scrimmage.
